Abstract

Salah satu pemicu masalah Penyebaran PNS yang tidak merata di Indonesia adalah tingkat perputaran PNS yang cukup tinggi khususnya di wilayah terpencil dan kawasan perbatasan. Hal ini dikarenakan beberapa alasan seperti kondisi geografis yang tidak didukung dengan akses jalan yang nyaman, sarana transportasi yang minim, dan biaya hidup yang tinggi yang tidak sebanding dengan penghasilan dan kemungkinan terdapat faktor lain yang membuat pegawai memiliki niat ingin berpindah dari Pemerintah daerah di kawasan Perbatasan yang tentu saja hal ini menjadi masalah yang serius untuk Pemerintah kawasan Perbatasan dan daerah terpencil. Jika melihat fenomena yang terjadi dikawasan perbatasan penyebab turnover intention terkait dengan kepuasan kerja, stres kerja, kecerdasan emosional dan quality of work life. Berdasarkan kajian literatur dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepuasan kerja secara signifikan memediasi hubungan stres kerja, kecerdasan emosional pegawai maupun quality of worklife dan turnover intention
